Upon your arrival at Phnom Penh’s International Airport, you will be welcomed and driven to hotel for check in. Then you will visit the Royal Palace. This palace dates back to 1866 and houses the Silver Pagoda, named for the over 5,000 heavy silver tiles that cover its floors. Its original name is WatPrakeo, meaning Temple of the Emerald Buddha. In this temple you will view a collection of Buddhas in gold, silver, crystal, and bronze. Proceed to see Wat Phnom, the namesake of the Capital City of Cambodia. Wat Phnom was built by Madam Penh in 1372 when she found a Buddha inside a Koki tree on the site. It is still an important historical side with great religious significance for Cambodians today. Then you will stroll through the Central Market for sigh seeing, shopping or whatever you want. Overnight in Phnom Penh .

Morning, you will be transferred to a bus station where you will take an express bus for your journey to Siem Reap, which would take about 6-hour drive. The bus will travel about 314 km passing Kandal, KompongCham andKompong Thom provinces. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by guide and driver in Siem Reap. Then you will visit the workshop of Artisan d’ Angkor, where they train local people to learn how to carve on stone and wood. Continue to see WatThmey, a large monastery half way out between the center of town and Angkor Wat, which is notable for being at the center of an area that served as a killing field during the Khmer Rouge time. Listen to your guide telling you a horrific story about the dark time of Khmer Rouge. Overnight in Siem Reap .

After breakfast, you will exploreAngkor Wat that is the most impressive Hindu temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture and it has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag.It is the country's prime attraction for visitors. Continue to visit the “Great City” of Angkor Thom, built in the late 12th Century. Within the Royal enclosure you will see the Bayon temple with 54 towers, each carved with four faces of the compassionate Bodhisattvas. Then, you see the Baphoun Temple, followed by the Elephants and Leper King Terrace. After lunch, we continue to see Taprohm Monastery overgrown by trees, where Hollywood Movie, Tom Raider, was made. Further your visit to the temple mountain of Prerup, built as the state temple by King Rajedravarman early 962. Pre Rup literally means "turn the body". This reflects the common belief among Cambodians that funerals were conducted at the temple, with the ashes of the body being ritually rotated in different directions as the service progressed. CANCELLATION POLICY AND TERMS
Cancellation Policy:
JourneyBuds believes in helping its customers as far as
possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:
In the event of cancellation of Tour / Travel
services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the
same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we
receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:
* Airline/Train/Bus cancellation is as per
concerned airline/irctc/bus company policy.
* Minimum cancellation amount is INR 2500 per
adult once package is booked.
* For cancellations received 20 - 30 days prior
to tour: 25% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 10 - 20 days prior
to tour: 50% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 - 10 days prior
to tour: 75% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 days & less
prior to tour: 100% of land package amount
* Cancellation will vary during peak and super
peak seasons like Diwali, Christmas, New Year etc.
* JourneyBuds’ decision on cancellations will be
final.
* In case of Peak season hotel bookings a
separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when
required).
Some cancellation and refund policies are out of
our control:
* Refund for hotel payment will follow the
hotel’s cancellation policy
* Bus tickets cancellations will follow the Bus’s
policy
* Train tickets cancellations will follow the
Railway’s policy
* Flight tickets cancellations will follow the
airlines company policy
* In case you cancel the trip after
commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too
would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/
contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered
transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to
refund.
Our
Liabilities & Limitations:
Please note that after the finalization of
the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments /
museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt. of India, the same would
be charged as extra.
Law &
Jurisdiction:
For all complaints, suits, claims or
disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by JourneyBuds,
will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Guwahati.
