Welcome on arrival by our representative, at Colombo international airport and start your journey driving you through beautiful landscapes of plantations and little villages to your hotel in Sigiriya. On the way at Pinnawala, visit the Elephant Orphanage. Later travel to visit Dambulla rock cave temple, on conclusion reach your Hotel, settle in and relax. At Elephant Orphanage you can feed and bath the baby elephants, or simply sit and watch at many elephants relaxing in an idyllic and natural environment. Also visit the Zoological garden at Pinnawala situated close to Elephant Orphanage. (Feeding time for baby elephant is at 09:15 am). Dambulla rock cave temple is a historically appreciated place (01st century BC – UNESCO world heritage site) Sri Lanka has to offer and the opportunity to gain some insight into Sri Lankan culture. .

After breakfast at Hotel, proceed to climb the Sigiriya Rock. Sigiriya Rock is a UNESCO World Heritage site, well-known as Lion’s Rock which is a part of Sri Lanka’s ‘Cultural Triangle’ where you will have a chance to gaze over the stunning views of central Sri Lanka. Then you will travel to famous town of Kandy, stopping at various places along the way for a chance to see some interesting places like a Spice garden at Matale. Reach Kandy and settle in to your hotel and relax….. If you prefer to witness a Cultural dance show, then you will finish the day with watching a Cultural performance featuring the traditional dance and drumming that Kandy is renowned for. Sigiriya is the ruins of an ancient palace in a 200 meter high rock fortress, overlooking the beautiful plains of north-central Sri Lanka. Built for an exiled Indian prince, the breathtaking ruins are one of Sri Lanka’s main tourist attractions and date back to AD 477. Despite its age, Sigiriya still retains much of its former beauty and features some of the finest examples of ancient art in the form of wall paintings, as well as a network of attractive gardens and reservoirs, and Sigiriya’s namesake, a gigantic pair of lion’s paws cut into the rock. With its fascinating history and unerring beauty, Sigiriya is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world and the UNESCO-sponsored Central Cultural Fund has even restored Sigiriya’s 5th century water gardens, so that you can get a glimpse of what Sigiriya might have been like thousands of years ago. .

Today, after breakfast at Hotel explore the City of Kandy including a visit to the tooth relic temple and adjoining ruins of king’s palace. Kandy is an exciting place for shopping with souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony and bronze. Ceramics, lacquer work, hand looms, Batiks and world famous exceptional kinds of Gems and jewellery. Later, you will leave for Nuwara Eliya, stopping at the Royal botanical garden at Peradeniya and a Tea plantation and tea factory at Ramboda. You will also be visiting Sri Bhaktha hanuman temple and Ramboda water fall. Later, settle in to your hotel, relax and by evening city tour in Nuwara eliya including a visit to Sita Amman temple in Seetha Eliya. Visit to a Tea factory to observe the progress of making Tea, completes your visit to this Tea plantation region surrounded by the breathtaking and idyllic landscapes. You can view the vibrant green fields of tea which symbolize the image of Sri Lanka. You will also get a chance to taste and purchase some of the world’s finest tea. Nuwara Eliya - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort and supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, and is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen ann style mansions. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka's tea production, producing a significant share of the world's best tea. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8,282 feet) is also located here and the city is renowned for having one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia. .

Day 4 Nuwara Eliya - Colombo (160 km`s – 05 hours drive)

After breakfast at hotel travel to Colombo, en route visiting the famous water rafting village, Kitulgala. (you can enjoy a round of water rafting with the help of a trained guide on board). At Colombo.... explore the city of Colombo...... you might also need to take part in some last minute shopping in to some famous boutique shops like “ODEL unlimited, House of Fashions, Majectic city mall, Noritake ceramic shop, Cotton Collection, Ceylon Tea show room” etc. Colombo like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its own phase. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained. Drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area where you can shop for bargain, a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749, the historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. You can be highly entertained by the blend of unique bazaar style pedestrian stalls, barrow boys, branded outlets and a number of dramatic and awe-inspiring religious monuments. Later by evening settle in to your Hotel in Colombo and relax. .

Day 5 Colombo - Airport (30 km`s – 01 hour drive)

Cancellation Policy:

JourneyBuds believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy. Under this policy:

In the event of cancellation of Tour / Travel services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows:

* Airline/Train/Bus cancellation is as per concerned airline/irctc/bus company policy.
* Minimum cancellation amount is INR 2500 per adult once package is booked.
* For cancellations received 20 - 30 days prior to tour: 25% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 10 - 20 days prior to tour: 50% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 - 10 days prior to tour: 75% of land package amount
* For cancellations received 05 days & less prior to tour: 100% of land package amount
* Cancellation will vary during peak and super peak seasons like Diwali, Christmas, New Year etc.
* JourneyBuds’ decision on cancellations will be final.
* In case of Peak season hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).
Some cancellation and refund policies are out of our control:
* Refund for hotel payment will follow the hotel’s cancellation policy
* Bus tickets cancellations will follow the Bus’s policy
* Train tickets cancellations will follow the Railway’s policy
* Flight tickets cancellations will follow the airlines company policy
* In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Our Liabilities & Limitations:
Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt. of India, the same would be charged as extra.

Law & Jurisdiction:
For all complaints, suits, claims or disputes of whatsoever nature relating to any products offered by JourneyBuds, will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of Court of Guwahati.
